Picking up immediately after the 2016 filmâs chaotic climax, Episode 1 finds Frank (Seth Rogen), Brenda (Kristen Wiig), Barry (Michael Cera), and the surviving consumables grappling with the aftermath of their Great Reckoning. Humanity has vanished (temporarily, it seems), leaving the supermarket denizens free. But freedom brings a new problem: boredom, overpopulation, and the return of ancient, cannibalistic food-on-food violence.
