Unlike traditional bamboo products that require toxic fire retardants, BambuShield FR uses a proprietary silicate infusion that leaves the natural grain visible while achieving a Flame Spread Index of 20 (ASTM E84).

A: Yes for covered applications (porches, eaves). For direct ground/weather contact, we recommend our thermally modified “Bambu Terra” line. Standard interior laminates are not rated for standing water.
