Sheldon considers this. Then he gets an idea. A terrible, wonderful, spectacularly petty idea. Meanwhile, in the B-plot, George Sr. and Mary are dealing with a crisis of their own: their teenage son, Georgie, has discovered girls. Specifically, he has discovered a girl named Veronica, a sweet, church-going sophomore with braces and a kind smile. Georgie wants to take her to the movies. Mary is thrilled—until Georgie asks for money to buy “snacks.” Mary gives him a suspicious look. “What kind of snacks?”

At the movie theater, Georgie and Veronica watch Ghost —a choice Georgie regrets immediately because Veronica cries for twenty minutes afterward and he has no idea what to do. Look it up.” Sheldon considers this

Georgie crosses his arms. “Dad. It’s 1990. The drive-in is where you take a girl when you want to hold her hand. Geez.” Meanwhile, in the B-plot, George Sr
