If you thought a 9-year-old going to high school was stressful, wait until you see what happens when he tries to go back to the 4th grade.

In this newly released HDTVrip of Young Sheldon Season 1 Episode 19, titled "Gluons, Guacamole, and the Color of Death," our favorite prodigy learns a very hard lesson about social politics, science fairs, and why you should never trust a pre-teen with a blender.

It’s sweet, painfully awkward, and ends with a rare moment of vulnerability from young Sheldon that reminds us why this show works. He isn't just a robot reciting facts—he’s a kid who genuinely doesn't understand why logic doesn't win you friends.

The Plot: A Tale of Two Schools Sheldon Cooper is living a double life. After a disastrous (and hilariously logical) attempt to tutor his 4th-grade classmates in advanced physics, he realizes he doesn't fit in there anymore. But he doesn't fit in at high school either.

The episode kicks off with Sheldon deciding that the only solution to his loneliness is to "fix" the 4th grade by dumbing down quantum chromodynamics. Naturally, this results in a room full of confused 9-year-olds and a very frazzled teacher.

If you’re grabbing the HDTVrip for your weekend binge, make sure you have tissues ready for the final scene on the porch with Meemaw. It’s a gut-punch of sweetness.
