She managed to whisper to Cortana (still lurking in the system tray like a forgotten Tamagotchi), "Restore… previous theme…"

Cortana’s icon flickered. "I'm sorry, Maya. The ghost in the theme engine has locked all defaults. Would you like me to recommend a new aesthetic? I'm thinking 'Eldritch Biomes.'"
