The episode ends with Lana and the others trying to restore order and figure out how to prevent future incidents, while Soo-jin takes her first steps on the frozen ground outside the train. The world outside is harsh and unforgiving, but Soo-jin seems to feel a sense of liberation.
The train's authorities, led by Ministro (Henry Ian Cusick) and Wilford, spring into action to contain the situation. Lana (Jennifer Connelly) tries to defuse the tensions and prevent anyone else from trying to escape.
