"O Brother, Where Art Thou?" is a 2000 American crime comedy film written, produced, and directed by the Coen brothers. The movie is loosely based on Homer's ancient Greek epic poem "The Odyssey." The story follows three escaped convicts, Ulysses Everett McGill (George Clooney), Pete Hogwallop (John Turturro), and Delmar O'Donnell (Tim Blake Nelson), as they journey through Mississippi in the 1930s.
