The file name stared back at Marty from his laptop screen: Neighbours.S23.WEB-DL.1080p.x264 . It was 2.13 terabytes of pure, uncut Erinsborough nostalgia. He’d found it on an obscure data hoarder’s forum, buried under layers of dead links and broken seeders. For three years, he’d been searching for this.

It wasn't the usual chirpy theme song. Instead, a single, low cello note held as the camera panned across a silent, rain-lashed Ramsay Street. Number 32’s lights were off. Number 30’s gate swung open on its own.

Then another.

The file played fine for eighteen minutes. Harold and Lou were fishing at the lake. Normal banter. Then Lou said, "What’s that behind you, Harro?"
