Kaelen logged off and stole a mag-lev rover. He drove sixteen hours across the darkened plains, past abandoned wind farms and ghost towns whose names had been erased from official records. Finally, he reached the coordinates: a rusted geodesic dome half-swallowed by prairie grass.

But Kaelen had seen his mother’s private files: ancient soil samples, hand-drawn contour maps, a photograph of a river that had changed its course seven times in a century. She had called geography “the slowest, most beautiful argument.” geography.10.us

“Your job isn’t to protect this place. It’s to go outside and find a new river, a new border, a new argument. Then upload it to node 11. Call it geography.11.us.” Kaelen logged off and stole a mag-lev rover
